May 2010
Founded
Brad Sandt, former school district technology director, founded K12itc the way many great startups are founded: right in his basement, with a big vision, and lots of determination.
June 2012
Headquarters in Kansas City
K12itc continues its rapid expansion and opens its first headquarters in Kansas City, Missouri.
December 2014
Chicago Data Center
K12itc opens a data center in Chicago, allowing the company to offer even more services and reach more schools across the midwest.
September 2015
Albert Launches
Albert is born. K12itc’s innovative platform, Albert, propels K12itc’s growth on a regional and national scale. Today, Albert is the smartest partner for managing technology infrastructure in K-12 schools.
May 2017
Colorado Partnership
K12itc partners with its first Colorado-based school district and continues expanding its footprint in the Western region to deliver excellent, dependable technology.
September 2018
Civic ITC Launches
Understanding how civic organziations face similar technology challenges to those of K12itc’s partner schools, Civic ITC is launched and Menlo Inc, is established as the umbrella organiztion of both companies.
May 2020
Expansion in Arizona
K12itc expands into Arizona, serving schools across the state and empowering teachers and students with secure, reliable technology.
July 2020
Headquarters in Crossroads
Menlo opens state of the art Headquarters in the Crossroads Arts District to accommodate growing staff.
October 2022
Arkansas & Minnesota Expansion
K12itc expands into Arkansas and Minnesota.

Coast to Coast Expansion
